Swim Brief or Swim Diaper for incontinence
After receiving many inquiries regarding incontinent products available for swimming, Option One Healthcare has decided to offer a swim product that far exceeds most products offered on the market. The incontinent swim brief we chose is "custom fit" to not allow leakage, and can be worn underneath swimwear. This product was reviewed by the National Foundation for Continence and selected for their Resource Guide as a must have for swimming. The product is manufactured by Discovery Trekking Outfitters which specializes in special fabrics designed for specific functions such as the Swim Diaper. These diapers will fit Men and Women, as well as Children & Teen. If your looking for a incontinence swim diaper, then Option One Healthcare has the "best" available.
Wow this is cool, you can swim and not worry about an accident? I wonder how good these are? Anyone experienced actually using these? Thanks, Dean
ReplyDeleteYes, absolutely cool Dean. These are made mostly for fecal incontinence. The water proof fabric is designed to not allow water to penetrate inside the garment. They are re-usable and are of extremely high qulaity. The manufacturer currently has other specialty products being sold at REI. They have put a few years into researching ways to hold moisure in with certain fabrics, as well as pulling moisture off the body as well. I would give them a try if your interested. We think this is the best product on the market for swimming with incontinence.
ReplyDeleteNetti® Combi-Aqua is a truly unique leak-proof adult incontinence aquatic swimwear system. It boasts an innovative combination of a waterproof inner fixation swim pant made from polyurethane laminate (PUL) fabric along with a tight rubber seal in the legs and waist bands. The extremely elastic outer stretch pant with a leg opening that can be rolled up over the inner pants openings for even more water tightness. This ensures this PUL swimwear, two pants system will not have any leaks of fluid up to one hour or more, depending on how it is used, either coming in or going out, as will happen with regular incontinence swimwear and diapers making our dry swimwear products a must for ostomy patients.
